This tour is aimed at those who wish to see all the most important sights, usually those who are visiting Florence for the first time. It consists of a fascinating walk through the historic centre of the city. The tour includes the Franciscan church of Santa Croce, known as the 'Pantheon of the Italian Glories', owing to the fact that many illustrious Italians such as Michelangelo, Galileo, Rossini, and Machiavelli are buried here. The visit also includes the religious centre (the Baptistry the Duomo and Giotto's Bell-tower) as well as the political centre (Piazza della Signoria) of the city.
