Western Turkey (Traveller Style) - A world of travel...

Day 1 – Arrival Day (Istanbul)

Today is the arrival day. You will be met at the airport and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2 - Istanbul

 We will have the walking tour of the old city including Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, St.Sophia and Topkapi Palace. Tonight we will have our dinner in one of the local restaurant in the area. (BD)

Day 3 - Ankara

After breakfast we will drive to Ankara. On arrival we will visit one of the best museums of the country called Anatolian Civilizations’ Museum and Ataturk’s Mausoleum (BD)

Day 4 - Underground city – Cappadocia

Today we will be driving to Cappadocia and when we arrive to the region we will visit Kaymakli underground city. After check into our hotel we will have a Turkish cooking lesson where we will be doing all the shopping and cooking with an expert and at the end we will have the meal we cooked together. (BD)

Day 5 - Cappadocia

For the ones who wanted to have a balloon ride, there will be time to do it early this morning before breakfast. Then we will have the tour of the region. We will have short walks through the valleys and also visit some of the open air museums in the area. (B)

Day 6 - Konya-Home stay

After breakfast we will drive to Konya and as we travel on the silk route we will visit one of the old caravanserai (The hotels of the middle ages) on our way. In Konya we visit the famous Whirling Dervishes museum. In the afternoon we will arrive to the village where we will be the guest of the locals. They will be cooking the dinner and preparing the breakfast for us. (BD)

Day 7 – Antalya

We will have a leisure morning and then drive to Antalya. On arrival we will visit Archeological Museum of Antalya. We will be staying in the old harbor of Antalya in one of the Ottoman Houses converted to a hotel. (B)

Day 8 - Koprulu River Rafting

We have a short drive to Beskonak where we will start our rafting. The river runs gentle and it is great fun to go through the small rapids of the river(BL)

Day 9 - Pamukkale

Today we will drive to Pamukkale which is famous with its calcified falls. We will be walking on the pools and also have time to swim in the original pool with thermal water(BD)

Day 10 – Ephesus

No visit can be completed without visiting the amazing Ephesus and also Artemis Temple, one of the seven wonders of the world. Short drive will bring us to Selcuk and after check in to our hotel we will be visiting these places (BD)

Day 11 - Sirince Village - Virgin Mary’s House

Today is a relaxing day that we will be visiting Virgin Mary’s house in the woods and also Sirince Village famous with its fruit wines (B)

Day 12 - Pergamum – Assos

 We leave after breakfast to Pergamum which is an Biblical site. After visiting Acropolis of Pergomum we will drive to Assos (BD)

Day 13 - Troy - Canakkale

 We have a leisure morning in Assos we will drive to Troy and visit legendary city of Ancient Troy. (BD)

Day 14 - ISTANBUL

 We cross Dardanelles back to Europe. We will visit the 1st world war memorials of Gallipoli and then continue to Istanbul. Tonight we have farewell dinner (BD)

Day 15 – ISTANBUL

 Tour ends after breakfast and we transfer you to airport for your departure flight home (B)
